The fourth sentence in the preamble reads:
”Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,”
If this means anything it could be that we shall try to have friendly relations with all nations in the world. Does that mean that we should have developed friendly relations with the Soviet Union. With the South African Republic during the Apartheid regime? Or is it a homage to Nelson Mandela who did the unbelievable to transform a totalitarian state to a democratic republic. Shall we all study Nelson Mandela?
